What is an Operation in Sprawl?
An Operation is Sprawl's unit of organization: one isolated container per thing you run. Each operation holds its own connected accounts (a different Gmail, Slack, or X than your other operations), its own fleet of agents, shared context, and goals. You grant each agent the accounts it may act as, and it can use only those — so nothing bleeds across operations.
Is Sprawl a chatbot I have to talk to?

Does Sprawl work with Gmail?
Yes. Sprawl can read, send, and draft emails in Gmail. Common use cases include sending daily email digests, forwarding specific emails to Slack, saving important emails to Notion, and auto-responding to messages matching certain criteria.
Does Sprawl work with Slack?
Yes. Sprawl can send messages, read channels, and respond to Slack events. For example, you can ask Sprawl to post a daily standup summary to a channel, notify you when specific keywords appear, or sync Slack threads to your project management tool.
Does Sprawl work with Notion?
Yes. Sprawl can create pages, update databases, and query your Notion workspace. Popular automations include turning emails into Notion pages, syncing tasks from Linear or Asana into Notion databases, and generating weekly reports in Notion.
Can I connect my CRM to Sprawl?

Pricing
How much does Sprawl cost?
Sprawl has no subscription. You get $3 of usage free with your account (no credit card required), then add balance whenever you want more — from $5, and it never expires. A typical automation run costs 6¢ to 16¢, so three automations running daily come to a few dollars a month. Every integration is included; there are no tiers to upgrade between.
Is there a free trial?
There is nothing to trial, because there is nothing to cancel. Every account starts with $3 of usage — about 30 automation runs — with no card and no time limit. Every integration and feature is available from the first minute; when the balance runs out, you decide whether to add more.
How is a run priced?
A run costs what the computing work it did costs — typically 6¢ to 16¢ for an automation run — and it comes off your balance as it happens. Building and setup chat are free on the default and curated models (up to 50 waived turns a day; pinning a premium catalog model is priced from the first turn), so your balance goes to the work your agents do rather than to describing it. Heavier runs like deep research or long multi-step automations cost more, lighter ones cost less; there are no minimums and no rounding up. Scheduled and event-triggered runs are priced exactly the same way.
What happens if my balance runs out?
Runs pause, and nothing is lost. Your operations, agents and schedules stay exactly as you left them and resume as soon as there is balance to run them — there is no overdraft, no overage charge and no surprise bill, because nothing runs on money you have not added. Security & Privacy
How much control do I have — does it act on its own?
You’re in control. Sprawl runs the routine work you trust it with and checks in with you on anything sensitive. Spending money, deleting data, and sending a first-time message to a new external contact always ask for your approval before they happen. You decide what runs on its own and what needs a green light, and you can change those rules per project at any time.
Is my data safe with Sprawl?
Yes. Sprawl uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest, and authentication is handled by Clerk, a trusted identity provider. Your conversations and run results are stored so you have a working history — but before anything is saved, financial and credential data (card numbers, bank details, passwords, API keys) is automatically redacted and contact details are truncated. You can delete conversations at any time, and deleted data is purged within 90 days.
Can Sprawl access all my data?
No. Sprawl only accesses the specific apps you explicitly connect and only performs the actions you request. Each integration requires your explicit OAuth consent, and you can disconnect any app at any time from your connections settings.
